GATE qualifiers get a GOI teaching assistantship of Rs.8000/- per month and a contingency grant of INR 5000/- per year. Hostel is mandatory for every student, accommodation is really good at a subsidised rate. All the amenities like WiFi, geyser, security is provided free of cost.
