The Placement in Vellore Institute of Technology starts from January and ends a year later when students have smiling faces and are secured a placement in leading MNCs with Cost to Company of more than 3 lakhs. Scholarships
VIT Scholarship : VIT scholarship is offered by the Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore. The scholarship is primarily to support meritorious, yet needy students to complete their education by providing financial assistance. VIT Scholarship for students appearing in VITEEE.
VIT Vellore scholarship can be availed by students that have secured a good rank in their engineering entrance exam under a scheme called the GV School Development Programme (GVSDP). State and Central toppers will have their tuition fee waived off for all four years. Moreover, two toppers from government schools in rural areas will be awarded a 100% tuition fee waiver, plus exemption from hostel and mess fees. Students who have secured VIT Rank 1 to 1000 will have a certain percentage of their tuition fee waived off.

Placement
Vellore Institute of Technology has maintained an excellent placement record by providing its students with ample opportunities to blossom their career goals. The university has been ranked at the 28th, 55th, and 15th positions by the NIRF under the Overall, Management, and Engineering categories respectively. The placement season for the 2022 batch started on July 15.
During VIT Vellore Placements 2022, the Highest CTC stood at INR 1.2 CPA which was offered to 2 students by Motorq. Average salary stood at INR 8.19 LPA. A total of 7462 students were placed during the placement drive. Students received 2562 Super Dream Offers & 2907 Dream Offers.

VIT Placements 2025: Two Students Grab Job Offer of INR 1.02 Crore Per Annum
New Delhi: Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore conducted its campus placements for the class of 2025 graduates, where two students have received an offer of ₹1.02 crore each annual salary package.
Amit Agarwal and Sarthak Bharadwaj, final year Computer Science Engineering students at VIT, have reportedly been offered INR 1.02 crore as annual CTC by MotorQ, a venture-backed connected-car data and analytics software platform startup.
Both the students completed their internship at MotorQ over the summer and received pre-placement offers (PPO). A total of 184 graduates from the class of 2023 during their summer internships have bagged PPOs from their respective companies.
The pre-placement offers were made by companies including Microsoft (22 offers), DEShaw (2 offers), Fidelity Investments (24 offers), JP Morgan (82 offers), Wells Fargo (8 offers), Infosys (7 offers), The Math business (32 offers), and Schneider Electric (7 offers).
The other PPO results from VIT students who interned over the summer at Natwest, Morgan Stanley, ZS Associates, Pidilite, Google, Providence, Schlumberger, Walmart, GAP, and Adobe are expected to be released soon.
Prominent companies including Amazon, Wells Fargo, Texas Instruments, Walmart labs, Silicon labs, Arcesium, Krypto, and Meesho are in the pipeline for the Slot 1 placements.

Nobel prize awarded in 2019 for the development of lithium-ion batteries was the Chief Guest for the ceremony and delivered the Convocation Address and inaugurates Mahatma Gandhi Block, Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy Block, Savithri Bhai Phule Block, Rock plaza (Student Activity Center).
