VITEEE 2025 exam dates have been revised. The authorities will now conduct VITEEE 2025 from April. VITEEE 2025 will be held as a computer-based test. Previously, the exam dates were April 2025. VITEEE 2025 application form is now available online. Candidates will be able to register for VITEEE 2025 tentatively until March. What is VITEEE?
The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination, is an annual entrance exam conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) for admission to its engineering programs. VIT University is a deemed university located in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India, which offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in engineering, management, law, computer applications, and other fields. The university has two campuses in Tamil Nadu, one in Vellore and another in Chennai.
The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination is a computer-based test (CBT) that is usually conducted in the month of April every year. The exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programs offered by VIT University. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and is conducted in English only. Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination is an annual entrance exam conducted by VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) University for admission into its various undergraduate engineering programs. - Step 1: Registration
Visit the official website of VIT University and click on the “Register” button on the homepage. How to fill VITEEE 2025 application form?
Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to fill out the VITEEE application form 2025.
- Go to the official website, Official website - www.viteee.ac.in
- Click on the application form link.
- Candidates will have to register using their name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email address, etc.
- After registration, the VIT 2025 application form number will be displayed on the screen.
- Candidates will have to fill out their personal, academic and contact details. The preferred exam centres also have to be selected.
- VITEEE 2025 application fee of INR 13450 has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card/PayTM.
- Scanned photograph and signature have to be uploaded as per the specification mentioned by the authorities.
- Finally, the candidates will have to print out the submitted application form of VITEEE 2025 for future use.
Eligibility Criteria
VITEEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: The applicant for admission should be a Resident/Non-Resident Indian National/PIO Holder. Age Limit: Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after July1 , 2001, are eligible to apply for VITEEE 2025. The date of birth as recorded in the High School Certificate will be considered authentic. Candidates should produce this certificate in original as proof of their age at the time of counselling, failing which, they will be disqualified.
Qualifying Examination: Candidates appearing for the VITEEE 2025 should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2025, in any one of the following qualifying examinations:
- The final examination of the Class 12 system of Higher Secondary Examination is conducted by the State Board; Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE), New Delhi.
- Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University
- High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva
General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level - As per VIT Norms, Regular ‘NIOS’ board candidates are also eligible for VITEEE. They should produce the Migration Cum Transfer Certificate at the time of joining
Candidates who have studied Regular, Full Time and Formal education are eligible to apply
Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination
- Candidates appearing for the VITEEE in 2025 should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate)
- The average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate) put together should be 50% for Sc/st categories.
- For Indian nationals/ NRI/ PIO cardholders, appearance in VITEEE-2025 is mandatory to be eligible for BTech admission
In case VITEEE gets cancelled due to natural calamities, qualifying criteria may be substituted with higher secondary marks or JEE Main 2025 scores or a valid SAT.

The authorities will commence the VITEEE 2025 slot booking process after applications are closed. To book their slots, the candidates will have to log in using their application number and password. Since the slot booking facility is a first-come-first-serve process, the candidates are advised to complete it as soon as possible.
Counselling
VITEEE 2025 counselling dates will be announced after the results are declared. All qualified candidates will have to participate in the counselling process as per their ranks to be allotted to the BTech courses offered by VIT campuses. During VIT 2025 counselling, the candidates will have to register, pay the fee, and select their preferences. produce the documents for verification and confirm their admission once allotted. Registered candidates will be able to access the VITEEE admit card 2025 after the slot booking process is completed. Details regarding the allotted exam centre, date, timings and more are released through the VIT 2025 admit card. No other mode will be used to release the admit card. While reporting to the exam centre, the candidates will have to present their VITEEE 2025 admit card and valid identity proof.
