Eligibilty Criteria

PSSSB Clerk Eligibility Criteria: Age Limits

Applicants must be above the age of 18 years and below 37 years to apply for the PSSSB exam. Candidates who do not fulfill the age criteria will be not allowed to apply for the exam.

PSSSB Clerk Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualifications

Applicants must have completed their graduation from any university recognized by the AIU. Here is the post-wise required educational qualification

Position Educational Qualifications
Clerk Candidates must have completed 120 hours of course that justifies the hands-on computer skills of the applicant. Also, the course must be ISO 9001 certified or equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate of DOEACC, Government of India.
Clerk IT Candidates must have completed their graduation in B.Tech in Computer Science, B.Sc. IT or BCA. Also, the candidates must have a typing speed of 30 words per minute.
Clerk Accounts Candidates must have completed their graduation in B. Com. Also, candidates must have completed 120 hours of course that justifies the hands-on computer skills of the applicant and the course must be ISO 9001 certified or equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate of DOEACC, Government of India. The candidates must have a typing speed of 30 words per minute.

Note: Eligibility criteria are a major thing that students must study before applying for anything because it may lead to rejection or disqualification in the later phases.

Exam Pattern

The written exam for PSSSB Recruitment consists of 5 major parts namely: Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, Punjabi Language, English, and General Awareness. PSSSB exam is a computer-based exam that is 1 hour long and contains a total of 100 MCQs.

One mark is added for each correct answer and 0.25 is deducted for each wrong one. There is no deduction for unattempted questions. It is recommended to attempt the question only when the applicant is sure about the solution to a particular question.
