Changes in the exam due to pandemic

Due to the pandemic, there have been lots of changes taking place in the name of exam dates, lots of delayed exam promises have had been made. Since, The National Aptitude Test in Architecture- (NATA) has been rescheduled once again new dates have been announced and the registration dates have been extended for a few more days. For all the students who have had already registered, and were supposed to give their exams but they weren’t able to because of the pandemic over Covid-19, the National Institute of Advanced Studies decided that students will give an online exam rather than an offline exam. So, the National Institute of Advanced Studies has once again declared new examination dates which are on 1st August and another on 29th August. Eligibility

For students who are supposed to give The National Aptitude Test in Architecture- (NATA), they should be aware of certain eligibility criteria to avoid any misunderstandings. So, certain requirements are- Students who have passed their 10 and 12th with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Math (PCM) are eligible and for students of other categories like- (SC, ST, and OBC) as well as the PwD students need minimum 45% in all their PCM subjects to be eligible. There is no age limit for this exam. Students who have done a diploma course need to be 13 passed with at least 50% to be eligible for this entrance exam. Students who have opted for the other stream except for Science or commerce, so Arts students are also allowed to pursue this entrance exam if in their 10th they have scored at least 50% in all their PCM subjects. Extra Information

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture- (NATA) is only present twice a year so there is no option or any delay in the exam dates if a student misses it. The exam lasts for about 3 hours. There are more than 30,000 people giving this exam. This exam is accepted by 342 colleges or universities in India.

Another important thing is that students should make sure that they bring their Identification Card or Admit card during their exam or they won’t be allowed to give their exams. They have to carry some important documents with them as well, like- Either their Aadhaar card or Voter Id or their passport anything which helps in identifying them. Through a biometric process student’s photographs will be taken to maintain their record. No technological devices are allowed, if found then the student may suffer the consequences. Students are expected to follow these orders accordingly so that they have a safe and successful exam. Also, these are some extra entrance exam related knowledge that should have so, that they won’t make any of the following mistakes during their exams. Application or Registration process

Students’ application is very important as, after visiting the NATA site. To log in student’s, need their application number and password.  To register students need to mention all their important details like their- Name, Gender, DOB- Date of Birth, Mobile no., Mail Id, their new password, and a security question will be asked. Students have to upload some things like their picture and signature, there is a small criterion in this, there is a given size of the photo and signature which students have to conform to. Students also have to pay a certain amount for the NATA application forms. The online payment method is only accepted, students have to pay INR 2,000 for general category, for another category the price is INR 1,700, etc.

Entrance Exam center’s

There are many exam centers in India, they all over India in many states and in specific cities. The National Aptitude Test in Architecture- (NATA) exams are conducted in those states like in- Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and many more states. These are all the states where cities are allocated and exam centers are assigned.
