Eligibility Criteria

Educational qualification: Candidates must have a Master’s degree or equivalent examination from a recognized university in the relevant subject.
Minimum marks: Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks in their Master’s degree examination. A relaxation of 5% is given to candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBCs), Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), and Transgenders.
Age limit: The upper age limit for the JRF fellowship is 30 years. There is no age limit for the Assistant Professor position.

Candidates must have passed their Master’s degree examination before the date of the UGC NET exam.
