Established in the year 2009, the SR Group of Institutions offers education in various lucrative fields, including science, engineering, pharmacy, law and management. This institution has six colleges under it, namely the College of Pharmacy, College of Professional Studies, College of Law, SR College of Polytechnic, College of Science and Engineering and College of Engineering Management and Technology. This institution has earned approvals from many leading organisations such as the AICTE and PCI. In addition to this, it is affiliated to Abdul Kalam Technical University. Some of the courses offered by this institution are BTech, BPharmacy, BSc Agriculture and MBA.
SR Group of Institutions Admission Process:
Applicants interested in applying to this institution need to submit a duly filled application form to the institute's corporate office. The admission is based on the candidate's performance in the valid entrance examination, such as the UPSEE, CMAT, GATE, JEECUP and AIEEE. Candidates must apply in the stipulated period and should attach all the essential documentation with the application form. Different courses offered by this institution have different qualifying criteria. Candidates applying to the B. Tech programme need to clear their 12th standard with a minimum of 45% marks. The candidates applying for the BBA programme need to clear their 12th standard with at least 50% marks. It is essential for candidates applying for BTech to have physics, chemistry and maths as their subjects. Additionally, candidates applying for the polytechnic exam need to clear their 10th standard with a minimum of 35% marks.

Rahul Gupta is Head of Department of Information Technology Branch at SR Group of Institutions, Lucknow. Er. Rahul Gupta is presently working as Assistant Professor & Head of the IT Department at SR Institute of Management and Technology (SRIMT), Lucknow. With a rich experience in teaching and research, he has completed M. Tech from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. Also, he has attended several workshops and seminars and has carried out various conference proceedings at the national level.
Mr Pawan Singh Chauhan, the Founder and Chairman of S.R Group of Institution is an Educationist, Entrepreneur and a Social worker. He completed his graduation from the University of Lucknow and after graduating, completed his MBA. Later he fulfilled his father’s dream of starting a college and providing free education to economically weaker students. Since his childhood, he has had a passion for social work. He is a recipient of several awards in the education sector. Currently, his college is imparting knowledge to more than 5000 students.
SR Group of Institution is ranked 4th among all the AKTU colleges and is declared the best institute in North India because of the sheer hard work, dedication and vision of Mr. Chauhan. In 2015, he also established SR Global School in Lucknow which is affiliated to CBSE Board.
