This year fewer candidates have applied than last year. Last year 3, 02,066 candidates had applied. Whereas this year only 2,67,139 have applied. Both JEECUP Application Form and form correction window are now closed.
JEECUP is held as a 3-hour online exam once a year. There are a total of 100 MCQ questions. Each question in JEECUP Question paper 2025 carries 4 marks for the correct answer. JEECUP 2025 also has a provision for negative marking and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect response. No marks are deducted for questions not attempted. The allotment of seats will be based on the options entered category and merit rank of the candidate. Candidates who will be allotted seats during JEECUP 2025 counselling will be required to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 3000 through MOPS to confirm their seats.
Seats allotted applicants will have two options – freeze and float. If the candidate is open to up-gradation, he/she needs to opt for float, or else opt for freeze. Admissions will have to be completed as per the official schedule.
