JEECUP 2022 or UPJEE (UP Polytechnic) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh for admission to diploma courses in Technology, Engineering, and Pharmacy. Qualified candidates will be granted admission to assorted polytechnic institutes aligned with the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh.
oint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh has announced the revised exam dates. JEECUP 2022 is to be held from June 27 to June 30, 2022. JEECUP Admit Card 2022 will now be released on June 20, 2022. Candidates can download the admit card soon through the official website.
This year fewer candidates have applied than last year. Last year 3, 02,066 candidates had applied. Whereas this year only 2,67,139 have applied. Both JEECUP Application Form and form correction window are now closed.
JEECUP is held as a 3-hour online exam once a year. There are a total of 100 MCQ questions. Each question in JEECUP Question paper 2022 carries 4 marks for the correct answer. JEECUP 2022 also has a provision for negative marking and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect response. No marks are deducted for questions not attempted. JEECUP Syllabus 2022 is based on UP Secondary Board Syllabus (up to Class 10th) and Higher Senior Secondary & Senior Secondary Syllabus (Class 11th & 12th) standard.
JEECUP 2022 Application Form is available online on jeecup.nic.in. Before filling out the form, candidates should be ready with respective scanned documents which include passport size photograph, thumb impression, and signature.
Steps to Fill JEECUP 2022 Application Form
Before going ahead with an application, a fresher should be enlightened about JEECUP 2022 Eligibility guidelines. Group-wise JEECUP or UPJEE eligibility criteria vary. The basic eligibility criteria have been mentioned below:

Mode of Counselling: Online
Students who will qualify the JEECUP 2022 exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. The authorities will conduct the JEECUP 2022 counselling from June 20 to August 15, 2022, on the official website. Students will have to first complete the counselling registration as per the schedule. Latest, the authorities will release the UPJEE seat allotment 2022 for registered candidates.
The allotment of seats will be based on the options entered category and merit rank of the candidate. Candidates who will be allotted seats during JEECUP 2022 counselling will be required to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 3000 through MOPS to confirm their seats.
Seats allotted applicants will have two options – freeze and float. If the candidate is open to up-gradation, he/she needs to opt for float, or else opt for freeze. Admissions will have to be completed as per the official schedule.
