MBA 2023-25
“In 2023, I came to Bangalore, leaving behind my hometown with a heart full of excitement, uncertainty, and big dreams. I kept asking myself — "Will I be able to make it?" "Can I truly fulfill my dream?"
Today, two years later, I feel grateful beyond words that I took that leap of faith. The risk I once feared turned into a journey of transformation. A dream I never dared to fully visualize has now come true — I’ve been selected as an HR Generalist at Microsoft.
This journey has been nothing short of transformative. The real-time support, hands-on experience, continuous motivation, and exposure to real-time projects at Alliance University have helped me grow not only professionally but also personally. I have become more confident, resilient, and ready to take on the challenges of the corporate world.
From self-doubt to self-belief — this is more than a job offer. It’s a reflection of growth, grit, and gratitude.”

MBA 2023-25
From day one on campus to landing my first corporate role, my MBA journey has been nothing short of transformative. What truly made a difference were the mock interviews, aptitude tests, and workshops that turned preparation into confidence — all backed by the constant support of my professors and peers who stood by me throughout my journey.
The real challenge wasn’t picking up new skills — it was believing in myself. But with every bit of feedback and each small win, that belief grew stronger. The Corporate Mentorship Program was a game-changer.
My mentor’s real-world insights helped me sharpen my career goals and navigate the placement process with clarity. To those starting their MBA journey, I’d like to say: dive into every opportunity, lean on your mentors, and trust the process. You’ll be surprised how far it takes you.

MBA 2023-25
Alliance University was the launchpad for my professional transformation. The classes were instrumental — they pushed me to think critically, act strategically, and build a marketer’s mindset rooted in real-world application. The resume-building workshops, mock interviews, and placement prep sessions gave me the clarity and confidence I needed to navigate the recruitment journey successfully.
To anyone beginning their MBA journey: think big from day one. Say yes to things that scare you, speak up even if you're unsure, and show up even when it's tough. The world doesn’t need perfect — it needs prepared. I lived by the mantra: ‘Leap, and the net will appear.’ The confidence I have today was built one bold step at a time.

My MBA journey was filled with growth, challenges, and unforgettable learnings. The structured placement support — resume sessions, mock interviews, and mentorship — helped build my confidence. Meaningful conversations with faculty and peers taught me to lead, collaborate, and think critically. There were setbacks, but they shaped my resilience and perspective. The Corporate Mentorship Program gave me clarity and belief in my potential.
As I begin my corporate career, I carry with me more than a degree — I carry lessons, friendships, and gratitude.
To future MBAs: stay curious, embrace discomfort, and never stop learning. This journey is truly transformative and worth every moment.

Alliance University has played a crucial role in shaping my career and preparing me for the placement cycle. The university provided a strong academic foundation, industry-relevant curriculum, and hands-on experience through projects and internships.
The dedicated placement cell conducted mock interviews, group discussions, and resume-building sessions, which enhanced my confidence and communication skills. Faculty mentorship and technical training sessions strengthened my understanding of core concepts, helping me excel in interviews. Opportunities to participate in hackathons and workshops further refined my problem-solving abilities.
Overall, the university’s support, guidance, and structured placement training significantly contributed to my professional growth.

Being a corporate mentor for MBA students has been a truly fulfilling experience. It is a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world business challenges. Interacting with bright, motivated individuals at a formative stage in their careers is both inspiring and energizing.
Through mentorship, I have had the chance to share real-world perspectives, help students connect classroom learning to industry realities, and guide them as they explore their unique career paths. Guiding future leaders through strategic thinking, problem-solving, and career navigation not only contributes to their growth but also reinforces my own perspective as a leader. It was incredibly rewarding to witness their growth — not just professionally, but in confidence and clarity. Mentorship is a two-way street — while I help students shape their professional journey, their fresh insights and curiosity continually inspire me, and I learnt as much from them as they did from me."

The Corporate Mentorship program is a great initiative taken up by the university. The idea of providing students wit a glimpse of the corporate world and preparing them in advance is a novel idea. My batch of mentees were a bright lot who wanted to excel in life and I am glad that I could be of use to them in providing insights of the corporate world.
The program can be improved by giving it a little more structure and also avoiding long time gaps between sessions.

MBA 2023-25
