Step 3: Once you complete the payment, you will receive a notification email acknowledging your payment.
Step 4: The applicant will have to select a date for their Alliance Selection process (A full day immersion where students will solve real-life problems and be evaluated by a panel on their overall performance. It is designed to help us appreciate your candidature better and also provide you a glimpse of our innovative approach to evaluation, teaching and learning.)
Step 5: Once the Alliance Selection Process is completed, the Admissions team will evaluate every profile and results will be declared on the same day. Students can either be Selected, Waitlisted or Rejected*.
*Rejected students cannot apply to same programme in the same year.

Alliance University Application Process 2025
Alliance Selection Process is designed for holistic evaluation of the candidate based on the following parameters: Past Academic Performance; National Test Scores followed by a Personal Interview. The applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their profiles. They are also expected to meet the qualifying scores in at least one of the entrance exams. Each of the profiles are scored by a panel based on the overall performance and past academic record. Extracurricular activities such as sports or cultural activity achievements at state and national level are also considered in the profile evaluation.

- For the dance practitioners the minimum eligibility criteria is SSLC Pass with Minimum 2 years of dance learning experience.
All Ph.D. Programmes:
- Applicants holding a master’s degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent Grade in a point scale as may be prescribed by the UGC from time to time, wherever the grading system is followed.
- Applicants whose result of the final examination of a programme leading to master’s degree is awaited can be given provisional admission if he / she fulfils other requirements for admission. After the provisional admission the candidate will be required to furnish proof of completing master’s degree with minimum of 55% marks within three months from admission failing which his / her admission will be cancelled.
- Applicants holding foreign Degree’s equivalent to that of a Master’s degree study with minimum 55% marks or equivalent Grade in a point scale as may be prescribed by the UGC from time to time, wherever grading system is followed; Provided that applicants with a foreign Degrees shall be admitted to the Ph.D. programme, subject to clearance by the Equivalence Committee of Alliance University.
- Applicants having completed M.Phil. Coursework with a minimum 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent Grade, in the UGC point scale and those candidates who having their M.Phil. Dissertation evaluated, but viva-voce is pending, maybe may also be admitted to the Ph.D. programme.
- Applicants possessing a degree, approved as equivalent to the M.Phil. Degree in India, obtained from a foreign Educational Institution accredited by the UGC if candidates with a degree from a foreign Institution shall be admitted to the Ph.D. programme, subject to the clearance by the Equivalence Committee of Alliance University.
- Admission of candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC, or other reserved categories shall be governed by the Karnataka State Rules in this regard, from time to time.
- Students from a four-year undergraduate programme (with Honors) can enroll directly if they have scored 75% or above, with a 5% relaxation for specified categories as per UGC regulations. Those who have scored between 55% and 75% may qualify after completing either a one-year master's programme or a bridging course of 36-40 credits.

NID DAT: The National Institute of Design - Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Institute of Design to provide admissions to UG and PG programmes in the design stream.

CATEGORY-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS FOR UNDERGRADUATE/POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES
Differently Abled: Applicable as per the provisions of the RPwD Act, 2016 to all the categories of disabilities identified. A student with 40% permanent disability of the mentioned categories and with a Unique Disability ID from the Government of India will be considered for the scholarship.
Defence and Paramilitary Quota: Children or dependents of Serving personnel; ex-servicemen; retired personnel and deceased personnel of Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, Coast Guard, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Railway Protection Force (RPF), National Security Guards (NSG), Special Frontier Force (SFF), Assam Riffles, Border Road Organization / General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF), Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Military Engineering Services (MES) and Defence Security Corps (DSC) are eligible for scholarship.
Sports International Level:
A player who has represented India in any International Sports Competitions approved by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports/ SAI/ IOA/ FISU/ National Federation of Concerned Games approved by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports/ Association of Indian Universities/ School Games Federation of India are eligible for scholarship. The student must obtain a certificate from the concerned authorities of the sport. The candidate should have participated and won in the International level sports/ games conducted by the competent authority.
Sports National Level:
A student who has represented for the state in any competition conducted between the last two consecutive calendar years at the national level in Individual/ Teams approved by the Ministry of Sports/ Sports Federation / AIU are eligible for scholarship. The student must obtain a certificate from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports/ National Federation/ Board of concerned games only. The candidate should have participated and won in the National level sports/ games conducted by the competent authority.
Domicile:
The student should have studied and passed in one or more Government recognized educational institutions located in the State of Karnataka for a minimum period of SEVEN academic years commencing from 1st standard to 2nd PUC / 12th standard as on 1st July of the year in which the candidate is seeking admissions to and must have appeared and passed either SSLC / 10th standard or 2nd PUC / 12th standard examination from Karnataka State are eligible for scholarship. In case of the candidate who has taken more than one year to pass a class or standard, the year of academic study is counted as one year only.
