Eligibilty Criteria

GIC Educational Qualifications 2022

The educational qualification is provided below in the table:

Stream Required Educational Qualification
Finance /Accounts B. Com Degree from a recognized University;

  • General & OBC- 60% marks,
  • SC/ST - 55% marks

OR, any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government with the prescribed benchmark.

General Graduation in any stream, from a recognized university

  • General & OBC- 60% marks,
  • SC/ST - 55% marks.
Legal LLB/BL degree from a recognized University;

  • General & OBC- 60% marks,
  • SC/ST - 55% marks

OR, any equivalent qualification.

Insurance Graduation in any stream,

  • General & OBC- 60% marks,
  • SC/ST - 55% marks

OR, any equivalent qualification recognized university.

GIC Age Limit 2022

The age limit is provided below in the table:

Exam Pattern
  • For the session, 2022-23 GIC exam will be based on two phases; Phase I & Phase II,
  • It consists of three parts; Part A, Part B, & Part C
  • Part A & B will be objective in nature & Part C will be descriptive
  • The total no. of questions will be 123 & total marks will be out of 150
