REAP is an abbreviation for Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process. It is restricted to undergraduate engineering courses. This state-level admission procedure is managed by the Rajasthan Board of Technical Education. The REAP 2025 will not have an entrance examination. Admission will be granted based on a merit list. What is REAP Exam?
Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) will be carried out by the Rajasthan Technical University for admission into BE, B.Tech and B.Arch programmes. Enrolment will be provided into different government, government-aided institutes participating in the admission process. Interested candidates will be able to apply for the same through online mode tentatively from the month of May 2025 onwards. Selection of the candidates for admission will be done on merit basis. Application Form 2025
- The candidates can register themselves by visiting the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process portal made available on the official website of RTU.
- To fill the application form, the candidates first need to generate login id and set a password.
- First step is the payment of application fee through online mode to generate the transaction id which will be the login id for the application process.
- The candidates can then proceed with filling of the application form. To fill the form, they need to provide their personal and educational details.
- Scanned copies of photograph, signature and other important documents should be uploaded into the application form.
- Once the details are entered, save the application form to partially complete the process.

How to fill Application Form?
Candidates aspiring to study BE or B.Tech degree courses in Rajasthan need not give any other entrance test. The scorecard for Joint Entrance Exam will be the gateway to their dreams. Applicants are advised to ensure that they keep track of all the important dates related to REAP 2025 Application Form.
This will help in the entire procedure to get admission in either Government College or private engineering college affiliated to Government of India. Below are few simple steps that will give an idea about the form filling for REAP 2025.
- First of all since this form is not filled for appearing for a separate entrance test so it is advised that once students already secured or appeared for JEE or GATE exam, only then he or she should fill the REAP 2025 Application Form.
- One needs to visit the official website and download the application form.
- A flashing link will appear on the official and subsequent websites.
- Post downloading the link one needs to fill all the required information fields with caution.
- The names and other details should not have any spelling mistake.
- A mistake in the details will mean that there will be a mismatch with the details of JEE and GATE.
- This might also lead to cancelation of the application of the candidate.
- After the form is filled, one needs to browse and upload a recent passport size photograph in jpeg format.
- Thereafter candidate need to hit submit which will redirect to the payment page.
- A payment of INR 700 needs to be made.
- This can be done using either credit or debit card or net banking.
- Also payment modes like; e-Mitra or CSC kiosk centers are authorized by the state of Rajasthan Government.
- Once the online application and payment is done, applicant need to take the print out of the confirmation page for future processing.
- Applicants must be informed that apart from these options, there is no separate office where a candidate can visit and submit application form and payment.
The registration number and password information will be available on candidate’s registered email address and mobile number. In case an applicant wants to change the password, he or she can hit forgot password link on the official website to generate a unique pin to change the existing password.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for REAP 2025, candidates must satisfy all the required conditions set up by the authorities governing the admission process. REAP Eligibility Criteria includes, academic qualifications, age requirement and Domicile criteria.
- Candidates seeking admission through REAP must have the minimum academic qualification for admission to B. Tech / B. E program in Rajasthan. They should have cleared class XII with minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Non-Creamy Layer OBC/ Non-Creamy Layer SBC of Rajasthan state) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and having any one subject from Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science and Biology as optional subjects.
- Candidates applying for the process must be born on or after October 01, 1994. A relaxation of upper age limit of 5 years is given to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Person with Disability (PwD) categories. Date of birth as mentioned in the Secondary Education mark sheet / certificate will only be considered as true.
Candidates will have to submit a Medical Fitness Certificate while reporting at the allotted college on the prescribed form certified by a Medical Officer of the Government of Rajasthan or a Registered Medical Practitioner as per the medical standards mentioned below:
- Height: For male candidates, not less than 1.5 m and for female candidates not less than 1.4 m.
- Weight: For male candidates, not less than 41 kg and for female candidates not less than 37 kg (Approximately).
- Chest Measurement: Male candidates apply for the process must have chest measurement not less than 69 cm.
- No abnormality of heart and lungs
- Application of candidates with hernia, hydrocele, piles etc. will be kept on hold. They should be cured of the disease before joining the program.
- Vision: Normal. In case of defective vision, it must be corrected to 6/9 in the better eye and 6/12 in the worse eye. An applicant must be free from congenital and other eye diseases. Candidates with color blindness cannot apply for Mining Engineering courses.
- Speech and Hearing: Normal
- Candidates of Rajasthan Domicile only can apply for REAP 2025.
Application Fee
REAP 2025 Application Form costs INR 700. Candidates may contact any Government of Rajasthan’s authorized e-Mitra/ CSC kiosk center deposit a sum of INR 705 (INR 700 for Application Form Fees and INR 5 for e-Mitra service charges). Candidates must note that this amount is neither transferable nor refundable or adjustable in future.
Exam Pattern
- REAP 2025 will be conducted on May/June 2025 at various center across the state of Rajasthan.
- The exam will be conducted for 3 hours.
- All the questions will be in the objective format with multiple choices.
- A total of 120 questions in paper and 40 questions from each of these subjects; Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Each question will be carrying one mark.
- No negative marking for the wrong Answer.
- The questions will be asked in Hindi and English language.

Counselling
REAP 2025 Counselling will be organized by the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan. Counselling will be conducted either on the basis of candidate’s rank in JEE Main 2025 (if any) or candidate’s marks in class XII. The counselling will be organized into three rounds. Candidates have to lock their choices for branch and college before appearing in the counselling process. During online/choice filling, candidates have to pay a fee of INR 10,000. This fee is fully adjustable in case admission is taken at the allotted institute.
The steps for REAP Counselling 2025 are as follows:
Step 1- Online registration
- Register yourself online and fill the required educational and personal details to sit for counselling.
- Next, upload photograph and signature in the required format and size.
- Make a payment of INR 700 online through Debit Card/Credit Card/ net banking or at E-Mitra centers.
Step 2- Online choice filling and locking
- Log in using credentials entered at the time of registration.
- Make choices of seats available from the given list of institutions and B.Tech/ B.E courses and fill it.
- Choose as many institutes/seats as you like and fill them immediately before getting “Choice exhausted condition”.
- Save your choice every time you log in and edit the same.
- Once sure, lock the choices or else the system will automatically lock the choices to the last saved ones on the last day.
Step 3- Seat Allotment procedure
REAP Seat Allotment 2025 will be done on the basis of the merit rank of the candidates and the choices filled by them. Candidates will have to download their provisional seat allotment letters which will contain their personal details as well as details of the institution and program to which they have been provisionally admitted and details of initial fee payment.
