IIT Bombay will release the UCEED 2023 application form in the first week of September 2022. Eligible candidates can fill out the UCEED exam application form online by visiting the official website - uceed.iitb.ac.in.
UCEED Syllabus 2023
- The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay will release the UCEED 2023 syllabus which includes all the important topics of the design entrance test. Aspirants must go through the UCEED syllabus 2023 to get an idea about the important topics so that they can prepare accordingly. The UCEED syllabus 2023 for Part A and Part B are different.
UCEED 2023 syllabus of Part B includes product drawing, scenes, or objects in proportion with good line quality, composition, perspective, proportion, and shading. Criterion 3 – Qualifying examination:
The candidate should have passed in all subjects in the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2021, OR should be appearing for the qualifying examination for the first time in 2022 in order to be eligible for attempting UCEED 2022. Students from ALL STREAMS (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible.
The counseling will be conducted online as a Joint Admission Process for admission to the B.Des program, which has an intake capacity of 199 seats at the five participating institutes.
There will be THREE seat allotment rounds.
The allotment for Round I will be announced on April 10, 2023. This will be followed by allotment for Round II on May 10, and the 3rd and final allotment on June 10, 2023.
The seat allotment would be made institute-wise considering:
UCEED 2023 merit rank of the candidate
Options selected at the time of choice filling
Candidates who are allotted seats have to accept the allotted seat and pay the seat acceptance fee.
The seat acceptance fee is Rs. 60,000 for GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL, and Rs. 15,000 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. The fee has to be paid online through the UCEED 2023 admission portal.

Candidate whose registration is complete in all aspects will be able to download the Admit Card for UCEED 2023 from the Candidate Portal from the date specified below.
The Admit Card will bear the following details of the candidate: Name, UCEED Registration ID, Roll Number for UCEED 2023, Date of Birth, Category, photograph, signature, examination schedule, examination centre details and instructions to candidates.
Candidates should carefully examine ALL the entries in the Admit Card and in case of any discrepancy, contact the UCEED Office at IIT Bombay BEFORE the below mentioned date via the designated email address [email protected]
In case the Admit Card is not available for downloading, the candidate should contact the UCEED Office at IIT Bombay immediately via email or phone [see contact information below].
A printed copy of the downloaded Admit Card MUST be produced at the time of examination.
