    How To Fill ASB Admission form 2023?

    Here is a general step-by-step guide on how to fill out an admission form for the Amrita School of Business Coimbatore:
    • Visit the official website ofAmrita School of Business Coimbatore and click on the Admission tab.
    • Choose the program you want to apply for and click on the Apply Now button.
    • Register on the application portal by entering your name, email address, and mobile number.

    The MBA students get an opportunity to undergo internship in leading organizations after their first year of MBA completion. The process of selection by the companies is completed by the month of January itself and the students spend 8 – 10 weeks (May – July) in the organizations studying and applying the concepts of their learning. They gain rich experience on interaction with their company mentors and are well supported and guided by assigned faculty members. These internships are mostly on a stipend basis and many of the internships culminate into pre-placement offers.

    • Scholarships for GATE qualified candidates :-
      All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), all the GATE qualified candidates receive a Post Graduate Scholarship of Rs. 12,400/- per month. All the M. Tech. Programs of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham are approved by AICTE for GATE scholarships.
    • Scholarships to Non-GATE students offered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham :-
      GATE exam are eligible to apply for Merit or Endowment scholarships available different programs as listed below. Highly motivated students are also given ample opportunities to pursue dual degree programs with universities in Europe, US and Australia.

    Placement
    Placements at Amrita have always been excellent. Students who are eligible and opted for placements have more than one job offer, on an average. Exercising their dream option, some of them have up to three job offers by the end of their course.
    For the year 2018-19, a total of 306 eligible students were placed at Amrita School of Business (ASB) at salaries that have shown significant growth over the previous years. The placements have provided them high-quality, diverse and professional opportunities. For the year 2019-20, as on July 2020, a total of 271 eligible students are placed and the process is still going on.

    • Pragati’23 – Annual B-School Event of Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore :-
      Pragati’23 – annual B-School event was successfully organized by Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore. The theme of Pragati 2023 is “Rising from the ashes – Be Fierce.” The event was conducted offline with 400+ participants from around 25 colleges. The two-day event started with the inauguration function on 10.02.2023 (09.00 AM – 10.00 AM) at Amriteshwari Hall. The chief guest Mr. Venky Nagan, Retired Group CEO of Asmara Groups, joined the inauguration. The Legacy of Pragati was remembered by Dr. Sanjay Banerji (Founding Director, ASB, Coimbatore) and Dr. Shyam (Associate Professor, ASB, Coimbatore.). Dr. Nava Subramaniam (Dean, ASB, Coimbatore) highlighted the role of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in Civil 20 engagement (a wing under G20 Presidency of India).
    • Amrita School of Business Coimbatore, Organizes Colloquium on Cracking Interviews for Digital Marketing Roles: Tips & Tricks :-
      Mr. Sai, emphasized on the need for the students to recognize the myths prevailing in the field of digital marketing. He then explained the four different career paths a digital marketing aspirant can take such as product marketing, services marketing, agencies and miscellaneous. He highlighted that the management graduates have to equip with traits such as; accountability, result orientation, problem solving, creativity, execution and attention to detail. The speaker also distinguished these traits from traps. The importance of having a competitive advantage in corporate was addressed in the session where the speaker provided the students with a certain set of skills to be mastered on such as Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, Social Media Listening and Reporting.

      Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore, organized a Research talk, inviting Dr. V. G. Venkatesh to talk on ‘How to Enhance Research Quality’ on January 25, 2023 (Wednesday) in hybrid mode.
      The speaker – Dr. V. G. Venkatesh, is a corporate trainer and academic with a Ph.D. in global sourcing from Waikato University (A triple-crowned School) in New Zealand and brings 22 years of experience with industry stints from Bangladesh, Honduras (Central America), Hong Kong, and Sri Lanka, and academic experience in Europe & Asia-Pacific regions. He is in a tenured role with EM Normandie Business School, France [QS and FT ranked & AACSB-EQUIS-AMBA (Triple crowned) accredited institution].
    • Amrita School of Business Coimbatore, Organizes Colloquium on How to be Successful Globally and Entrepreneurship :-
      ASB had the pleasure of attending a colloquium session from two eminent dignitaries from Metro AG, the renowned German retail group- Ms. Sreema Nallasivam, the CEO of Metro BSC & VP of Metro AG, and Mr. Rahul Mehta, the Head of India Operations of Metro. Mr. Rahul Mehta started the session on Entrepreneurship with a question to students on their thoughts on entrepreneurship. He then briefly introduced himself and his journey from an entrepreneur to an intrapreneur at Metro. He took the students through a reflection on personality traits demanded by the corporate from an Entrepreneur, which was an insight to budding entrepreneurs of Amrita School of Business.
