All candidates seeking for the Goa Public Service Commission recruitment must be Indian citizens.

Goa GPSC 2022 Eligibility: Age Limit

All service positions require a minimum age of 18 years. The maximum age limit varies per category:

  1. General category: 33 years
  2. SC/ST: 38 years
  3. OBC: 35 years

Goa GPSC 2022 Eligibility: Age Relaxation

Age relaxations shall be applied per government regulations established by the Indian government. Candidates from various categories are eligible for age relaxation. The requirements are as follows:

  1. SC/ST candidates: 5 years
  2. OBC candidates : 3 years
  3. Persons with disabilities: 5 years
  4. Government servants: 5 years
  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized university/college/institution.
Exam Pattern

The Goa GPSC (Administrative Services) 2022 Exam is a written examination. Candidates have to clear the written examination for the final selection. The candidates who qualify in the written exam are shortlisted for the interview and the final selection is done on a merit basis.

The Goa GPSC Exam is a written exam consisting of two papers- Paper-I & Paper-II. Paper-I consists of 200 questions and Paper-II consists of a total of 50 marks. The total marks for the written examination are 250 marks.

The total duration of the written exam is 3.30 hours. The Goa GPSC (Administrative Services) 2022 Written Exam Pattern is provided in the table below:

Goa GPSC Syllabus 2022

The Goa GPSC (Administrative Services) Written Exam consists of two papers. General intelligence, reasoning, and numerical aptitude, general knowledge and current affairs, and the fundamentals of the Indian constitution, governance, and administration will be covered in Paper-I.
