UPESMET is a common entrance exam, conducted by UPES, Dehradun for admission to its MBA programmes. UPES offers unique industry-focused graduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in key areas such as Energy, Infrastructure, Transportation, Information Technology, Design, Planning & Architecture, Public Policy, and Legal studies. UPESMET is conducted multiple times a year. The exam is conducted in online proctored mode

UPESMET 2024 registration has commenced online. UPESMET 2024 exam dates will be announced soon. Soon after the exam is conducted, candidates can book slots for a personal interview online. The final result for admission will be announced after the interview round.
Registration
UPESMET 2024 Application form Process
- Visit the UPES website and click on the "Admissions" tab.
- Click on the "Apply Now" button.
- Select the "UPESMET 2024" option and click on the "Continue" button.
- Create an account by entering your name, email address, and mobile phone number.
- Once you have created an account, you will be redirected to the application form.
- Fill up the application form carefully and enter all of the required information.
- Upload a scanned copy of your passport size photograph and signature.
- Pay the application fee online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
- Review your application form and submit it.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should be graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50 percent marks from a recognised University
- Candidates must have passed Class 10th and Class 12th with a minimum 50 percent aggregate
- Candidates in their final year of qualifying exam are also eligible for UPESMET provided they can present the passing certificate by the time of admissions
- Candidates who have MAT, CMAT, XAT, CAT, NMAT by GMAC and GMAT scores of either the same or previous year, are exempted from taking the UPESMET exam
Non-Examination Pathway for PG admission:
Admission is offered based on national-level management entrance exams – CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/NMAT/GMAT followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. Up to 50 per cent of the seats are filled through the non-examination pathway category students. The minimum percentile required for entry to the non-exam pathway has been listed below:
- MAT score of minimum 80 percentile
- CMAT 2024 score of minimum 80 percentile
- XAT 2024/CAT 2022 score of minimum 75 percentile
- NMAT 2024 score of minimum 140

Application Fee
The application fee for UPESMET 2024 is INR 1350. The application fee can be paid online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
The application fee is non-refundable, even if you do not appear for the exam or are not selected for admission.

Counselling
- Registration - To appear for UPESMET 2024 counselling, candidates need to first register on the official website of UPES. Candidates need to enter the course, name, date of birth, city, email ID and application number to create a registration ID.
- Group Discussion – The qualified candidates are asked to appear in the Group Discussion (GD). Candidates will be required to participate in a group of 10 to 15 participants, where they will be expected to share their views and opinions with other participants.
- Document Verification – Post GD, candidates are called for the document verification wherein all the documents submitted during UPESMET application form 2024 will be verified.
- Personal Interview – After verification of documents, candidates have to appear for the Personal Interview (PI) rounds where the panel will assess a candidate’s personality, logical and reasoning skills, knowledge about the course etc.
- Final Selection: The results of the GD-PI round are declared a few weeks after the event. The final selection of the candidate will be based on the overall performance of the candidate in the UPESMET exam, GD-PI round along with his academic history and work experience.

Admit card
UPESMET exam is an AI-based Online Proctored Test wherein candidates can appear for the exam from any location. Hence, UPES does not issue admit cards for UPESMET. The examination authority sends a link to candidates' registered email ID through which they can take the exam from home on a laptop or desktop with webcam on the scheduled date./p<
