The JEE Advanced 2022 eligibility criteria have been published on the official website of IIT Bombay. To take the JEE Advanced 2022, candidates must meet the conditions and requirements of the eligibility criteria. Candidates who applied for JEE Advanced 2020/2021 but did not take the exam are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2022, according to the authorities.
Last year, the Education Minister declared that a minimum of 75% in class 12 would be waived from the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria. Candidates for admissions into IITs through JEE Advanced must meet a variety of requirements, including a qualifying exam, required marks, and more. Candidates will be disqualified if the JEE Advanced 2022 eligibility criteria are not met. It should be noted that only JEE Main candidates will be eligible for JEE Advanced 2022. The JEE Advanced 2022 exam is scheduled for August 28.
Candidates of the general category should have been born on or after 1st October 1997. SC/ST/PwD category candidates will have 5 years of age relaxation.
Candidates who have appeared for class 12 or equivalent examination for the first time in either 2021 or 2022 with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will be eligible for JEE Advanced 2022. Candidates who had appeared in class 12 or equivalent examination for the first time in 2020 or earlier, are not eligible for JEE Advanced 2022.
However, if the results of class 12 board examinations for the academic year 2019-2020 were declared on or after October 15, 2020, then the candidates of that board who appeared for their class 12 exam in 2020 are also eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2022.
