Tips to prepare for the compartment exam

Math

Be positiveBecause of the failure in the first attempt, the students face a lot of stress in the compartment exams. The students must not be disheartened. Instead, they should give their best shot to the second chance that has been given to them. They should prepare well and prove it that they can do it well.

Change the strategy: Everyone has their own strategies to prepare for the exams. But if the student has failed in the board exams, his/her strategy lacks worthiness. Instead of working on the same strategies, the students should try and develop new and better strategies that will help them to crack the exams.

Talk to people: You should reach out to your teachers, you seniors as well as your classmates who have scored well in the subject in which you have to give the compartment exam. Ask them how they prepared for the exams. Your seniors may help you with some beneficial tips. Consult your teachers to give you some advice on how to prepare for the compartment exams.

Identify strength and weakness: List all the topics of the subject. Identify your strengths and weakness. It is advised to do a ‘SWOT’ analysis of yourself. Do not focus on the strengths. Instead, plan to work on your weaknesses. Once you have worked on the weaknesses, do ‘SWOT’ analyze once more. This will help you to truly determine whether you have been able to identify your weaknesses well and work on them.

Know your faultsSolve the previous year questions. Carefully examine your paper or ask someone else to examine it. Assess all the chapters and topics closely. Take a look at all your topics. Learn from your previous mistakes.
