AP PGECET or Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Engineering Entrance Test is an online test taken by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of APCHE to select the most eligible candidates for various courses like M.E./MTech, M. Pharma, and Pharm. D courses.
AP PGECET 2022: Sri Venkateswara University has released the AP PGECET 2022 application form on the official website cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. Candidates fulfilling the minimum PGECET 2022 Eligibility Criteria can fill out the application form by June 14, 2022, without a late fee. AP PGECET Application fee is INR 1000 for General/OBC candidates and INR 500 for SC/ST candidates.
AP PGECET 2022 will be conducted from July 18 to July 20, 2022. Successfully registered candidates will be able to download their PGECET 2022 Admit Card on July 9, 2022. AP PGECET will be conducted as a computer-based online test for 2 hours. Each paper will have 120 multiple choice questions from AP PGECET 2022 Syllabus. In order to acquaint the candidates with the paper pattern and syllabus, the authorities will also release AP PGECET Mock Tests for the different papers.
How to Apply?

Nationality – The candidates should be of Indian nationality.
Domicile – The candidates applying for the AP PGECET exam 2022 should be permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana.
Academic Qualifications – They must have passed the qualifying examination i.e., B.E./ B.Tech successfully.
Marks Required – The candidates belonging to the general category are required to secure at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam, whereas the candidates of reserved categories have to score 40%.
GATE – Direct admissions will be offered for GATE qualified candidates
Candidates who qualify for AP PGECET 2022 will be able to participate in the counselling process. AP PGECET counselling dates 2022 will be released online at the official website. The authorities shall open an online registration portal for GATE and AP PGECET qualified aspirants separately. Candidates will have to pay the counselling participation fee through net banking/ credit card/ debit card. Afterwards, they will have to log in using their hall ticket number and rank to pay the counselling fee (Rs. 1000 for OC/BC and Rs. 600 for SC/ST).
Candidates will have to report to their designated centre and show the transaction ID to proceed with the verification of documents. Once the document verification is completed, candidates will receive a login ID. After logging in, candidates have to do the choice filling for colleges and courses in the order of preference.
AP PGECET seat allotment will be done on the basis of the candidate’s rank and preferences made during choice filling. Candidates will have to report to the institute allotted and pay the requisite fee to confirm their admission.
Result
Candidates will be able to check AP PGECET 2022 results online mode. The marks secured by candidates along with the qualifying status in AP PGECET 2022 we are informed through the result. Based on the scores obtained by candidates, the AP PGECET rank card 2022 will be prepared. Ranks are allotted specifically to those candidates who meet the AP PGECET 2022 qualifying percentage marks i.e., 25%. It may be noted that there is no minimum qualifying mark for SC/ST category candidates.

All the correct answers to the questions asked in the PGECET 2022 examination are provided through the answer key. Candidates will also be allowed to raise objections against the AP PGECET answer key for a specific time. Through the AP PGECET 2022 answer key, the candidates will be able to calculate their probable scores before the result is officially announced. During the calculation period, the candidates have to follow the official marking scheme. After considering all the objections raised by the students, the authorities will release the final AP PGECET answer key in 2022.
Cutoff
The range of marks or ranks within which admissions will be served through PGECET 2022 shall serve as the cutoff marks. It served as the screening process for admissions into the AP PGECET participating institutes.
