CMAT National Test Authority (NTA) will release the Common Management Admission Test notification probably in the third week of February 2023. Along with the official Common Management Admission Test notification, NTA will start the registration window on its official website- cmat.nta.nic.in. Those candidates who have completed their graduation or pursuing their final year for the same are eligible to apply for Common Management Admission Test 2023.

What is CMAT?
CMAT stands for Common Management Admission Test. It is a national level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to management programs offered by various participating institutes across India.
The Common Management Admission Test exam is conducted once a year in online mode. The exam tests the candidates' knowledge in various areas such as quantitative techniques and data interpretation, logical reasoning, language comprehension, and general awareness. The exam is conducted for a duration of 3 hours, and the question paper consists of 100 multiple-choice questions.
The participating institutes in Common Management Admission Test include many top management schools in India, including the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and many other government and private management institutions.

Common Management Admission Test Application Form 2023
The application process for Common Management Admission Test 2023 is expected to start in November 2023. Candidates who wish to appear for Common Management Admission Test 2023 can follow the steps given below to fill the application form:
- Visit the official website of NTA Common Management Admission Test at cmat.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the 'Registration' link to create a new account.
- Fill in the required details such as name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number to register for the exam.
- After successful registration, candidates will receive a login ID and password on their registered email ID and mobile number.
- Log in to the account using the login ID and password.
- Fill in the application form with all the required details such as personal information, educational qualification, communication address, etc.
- Upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee through online mode using debit/credit card or net banking.
- After successful payment, review the application form and submit it.
- Take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

- Step 1 - Visit the CMAT official website.
- Step 2 - Now click on the tab which states 'Apply for CMAT 2023'.
- Step 3 - A new page will open where the candidate will have to provide all the required details under the new candidate registration tab.
- Step 4 - After the CMAT registration 2023, a login id and password will be generated.
- Step 5 - Re-login and enter all the personal, academic, contact details in the CMAT 2023 application form.
- Step 6 - Preview the provided information mentioned in the CMAT 2023 registration form.
- Step 7 - Upload all the required documents.
- Step 8 - Pay the amount of application fee for the CMAT exam.
- Step 9 - Download the confirmation page which will display after successful payment.
- Step 10 - Take the printout of the CMAT 2023 registration form for future reference.
Eligibility Criteria

CMAT Reservation
The admission of the students depends on many factors such as the marks scored by the students, availability of the seats, and the reservation of the seats. Given below is the percentage of reservation of seats in Govt colleges for private colleges the percentage might change.

Counselling
The CMAT exam score is accepted by various participating institutes for admission to management courses. After the CMAT exam, the participating institutes release their admission criteria, which may include group discussion, personal interview, and/or written ability test, in addition to the CMAT score.
The counseling process for admission to management courses through CMAT score may vary for different institutes. Generally, the participating institutes release a merit list based on the candidates' performance in the CMAT exam and other selection criteria. Candidates who are shortlisted in the merit list are then invited for the counseling process.
During the counseling process, candidates are required to present the necessary documents such as mark sheets, certificates, and other relevant documents for verification. Candidates may also be required to pay the admission fee and complete the admission formalities as per the institute's rules and regulations.

Old Question Papers
The CMAT exam is a computer-based test consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that need to be completed in 3 hours. The question paper is divided into four sections, each consisting of 25 questions.
