The St. Xaviers Junior College.  Arts department has an intake capacity of 360 students with almost 60% of the seats being reserved. The college has a 50% reservation for Christians. There are 360 seats out of which 50% are reserved for Christians and other 13% for sports, art&culture, disabled, and Special category. You can check more details on the College’s official website. There are three groups (A, B, and C) in Arts subjects. You can choose subjects from these three groups. 

All the groups offer Hindi, English, and Economics. The groups offer optional subjects such as Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, History, etc. For all the Christian candidates, Baptism certificate is a requirement. Optional subjects are dependent on the availability of seats and merit.

 The full name of the Mithiabai College is Mithibai College of Arts, Chauhan Institute of Science & Amrutben Jivanlal College of Commerce and Economics  The college is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The prestigious college was established in 1961. The college was established in 32 Departments and many other facilities to holistically develop your personality throughout the course.

Sophia College has its hostel as well if you happen to be from outside. It has a residential facility as well. Students from the Mumbai metropolitan region and from SSC or any other equivalent board are eligible to apply. 25% seats of bifocal subjects and HSVC will be reserved for student passing Std X with subjects V1, V2, V3 or vocational course under NSQF of RMSA.

Compulsory subjects: –  English, Hindi or French or Information Technology*, Environmental Education, Health and Physical Education

Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous college also famously known as RUIA college was established in 1937 and it has been offering Junior college programs since then.
