Eligibilty Criteria

Education Qualification

The candidate should satisfy the following criteria for respected posts:

  • BE/B.Tech or equivalent Engineering Degree in Electronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Computer Science with First Class and an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10 (average of all semesters for which results are available).
  • Current Final Year Engineering Students are not eligible for this recruitment.

Age Limit

The maximum age of general category candidates should not exceed 35 years as of 14/10/2022. For other category candidates.

Exam Pattern

The written test for ISRO Scientist/ Engineer is qualifying in nature and its marks will not be included in preparing the final merit. All the questions will be based on the ISRO CS syllabus

  • The written test paper for ISRO consists of a total of 80 objective-type questions, carrying equal marks.
  • The total time duration of the exam is 1 hour 30 minutes (90 minutes).
  • The negative marking of 1/3 mark will be applied for each wrong answer, thus 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
