About
The TSBE is an education board in the state of Telangana in India. Established in 2014, the TSBE is based in Nampally in Hyderabad. The TSBE is responsible for regulating and supervising the intermediate education system in the State of Telangana. It carries out various functions such as planning of courses, prescribing syllabi, conducting exams, affiliating colleges, directing, supporting and leading all educational institutions within its jurisdiction. The Hon’ble Minister of State of Secondary Education is the Chairperson of the TSBE and the Secretary of I.AS.S. rank is the Vice-Chairman of the Board.
Examination
One of the board’s most essential tasks is examination. Every year, a huge number of students sit for the Telangana Intermediate Examination for 1st Year (Junior) / Class 11 and 2nd Year (Senior) / Class 12 under the two course schemes – Regular and Vocational. Every year, the TS Intermediate Examination must be held in March/April.
