The candidate must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission.
The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects.
The minimum aggregate marks required in 10+2 or equivalent examination for general category candidates is 50%, while for SC/ST/OBC candidates, it is 40%.
Exam Pattern:
NEET UG exam is a pen and paper-based test consisting of multiple-choice questions. The exam is conducted in offline mode and the duration of the exam is three hours. The question paper consists of 180 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology subjects. The distribution of questions is as follows:
