ESIC Staff Nurse Age Limit

  • Minimum Age Limit: Unspecified
  • Maximum Age Limit: 37 years

No minimum age limit has been set or provided by the corporation for the recruitment of ESIC Staff Nurses in the official notification. However, the upper age limit has been set at 37 years. Candidates in the reserved category will get some higher age discounts as detailed in the table below.

ESIC Staff Nurse Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the ESIC Staff Nurse 2022 must have to fulfill the educational qualifications mentioned below:

  • Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or equivalent qualification for male nursing.
  • Courses registered with the Nursing Council.

ESIC Staff Nurse Eligibility Criteria: Nationality

The applicant must initially be a citizen of India. However, candidates from some other countries are also eligible. These are listed below:

  • Citizen of India
  • An issue in Nepal
  • An issue in Bhutan
  • A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, to settle in India permanently
  • A person of Indian descent who wishes to remain permanently in India in Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.
Exam Pattern

The ESIC Staff Nurse Exam is conducted in 2 parts:

Written Examination

  • The paper contains Objective type of Questions.
  • The paper will be 125 marks.
  • The questions will be in two languages Hindi and English.
  • There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks that will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • The exam duration is 2 hours.
