NEET is National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam is an All India Entrance exam for admission of MBBS. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate is a highly competitive medical entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in India. NEET 2025 question paper will comprise 200 MCQs from 4 major subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. As per the revised NEET 2025 Exam Pattern, each subject is divided into 2 sections i.e. A & B with 35 and 15 questions respectively. Also, the NEET exam duration is 200 minutes (3 hours 20 minutes). No changes are announced in NEET 2025 Syllabus, but to rationalize the reduction of the syllabus by various boards, NTA has provided the internal choice in Section B of the paper. So, out of the 15 questions in Section B, only 10 have to be attempted.

A Requirement Of AADHAR:
- From 2017 onwards, the Aadhaar linking facility to this entrance exam was introduced successfully. Almost, 97% of candidates registered for the NEET(UG) with the help of an Aadhaar number/Aadhaar Enrolment number/Aadhaar Registration Number
- The remaining 3% of candidates registered the application form with a Bank Account number/Passport number/Ration card number and other Government valid Identity Cards. Accordingly, the same practice is being followed for NEET (UG), 2025.
- The use of Aadhaar for the candidates of NEET (UG)-2025 will result in an accuracy of the candidates‟ details. This will also help in ascertaining the identities of the candidates at the examination centres in a convenient and hassle-free manner
Accordingly, NTA has decided to use Aadhaar for the candidates in NEET (UG)-2025, and notifies the following:
- Candidates, who are in possession of Aadhaar, shall enter their Aadhaar number, name, date of birth & gender in the online application for NEET (UG)-2025 for the purpose of his or her identity and authentication thereof
- Candidates not yet enrolled for Aadhaar, are hereby required to make an application for Aadhaar enrolment in case he/she is entitled to obtain Aadhaar as per section 3 of the Aadhaar Act. Such applicant may visit any Aadhaar enrolment centre (list available at www.uidai.gov.in) to get enrolled for Aadhaar
- In order to facilitate such candidates who are not having Aadhaar, the NTA has specially set up facilitation centres in each city of examination for the purpose of Aadhaar enrolment
- The candidates can approach such facilitation centres that will not charge any amount from any applicant for Aadhaar enrolment. The list of the facilitation centre is available on www.cbseneet.nic.in. These candidates who have enrolled for Aadhaar and have not received Aadhaar should enter 14 digits Aadhaar Enrolment ID (including slash) printed on the Aadhaar enrolment slip at the time of filling an online application form for NEET (UG)-2025.
- In case the Aadhaar enrolment facility is not available at the facilitation centres, the candidates should submit a request for Aadhaar enrolment. The facilitation centre will issue a registration number to such candidates. This registration number should be entered by the candidates at the time of filling out the online application form for NEET (UG)-2025
- The above provisions shall be applicable in all states except Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, & Meghalaya as per Aadhaar Act

After the advice from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, the Government of India, the National Test Agency (NTA) has announced that candidates with disabilities can fill the application forms for the NEET UG 2025 on the basis of the draft guidelines placed on the website of the Medical Council of India (MCI).
