Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is a common admission test conducted by the Symbiosis International (Deemed) University for admission to the MBA/PGDM programmes offered by its 15 constituent institutes. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program exam is a speed-based test. The SNAP exam paper comprises 60 questions from General English, Quantitative-Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program is conducted in three sessions in one academic year and the examination mode is Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates can take three attempts in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Best of the three scores will be considered for SIU admission through SNAP.

What is SNAP Exam?
Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is a national-level management aptitude test conducted by Symbiosis International University (Deemed) for admission to 24 MBA/ PGDM courses. It is the gateway to 16 institutes offering placements with an average CTC of 20 Lakhs (SIU Pune). It is a highly sought-after and competitive exam that is slightly easier to crack than other MBA entrance tests like CAT and XAT.

Latest Notification
SNAP 2023 exam is expected to be conducted in the last week of December 2023. SNAP 2023 Registration will tentatively commence in the last week of August 2023. SNAP is conducted every year for admission to 24 MBA programs offered by 15 SIU institutes.
Registration
SNAP 2023 Application Process
SNAP registration cum application process was held from August to November 2023.
Candidates were required to fill the online application form on SNAP website. Given below is the process to fill SNAP application form:
- Visit the SNAP 2023 website and click on New Registration (snaptest.org)
- Enter name, date of birth, phone number and email ID
- SNAP ID and login credentials will be shared in e-mail
- Use the SNAP ID and password to log in and fill the application form
- Enter personal and academic details, choose test city and preferred SIU institute
- Upload passport size photo and scanned signature
- Make payment of SNAP application fee via credit/debit card or net banking
Eligibility Criteria
SNAP 2023 Eligibility is determined and set by SIU. Even though the eligibility for candidates who require specific discipline/subject specialization is decided by the respective institute, final eligibility for admission is decided by SIU. Those who aspire to join MBA and MSc programs for the 2023-2024 session must fulfill the SNAP 2023 eligibility criteria for the course they wish to appear for.
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with 50%.
- For SC/ST category candidates, the aggregate marks in the bachelor's degree should be 45%.
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- There is no limit of neither age nor number of attempts.
- Candidates with foreign degrees or qualifications are also eligible, but such candidates should obtain equivalence certificates from the Association of Indian Universities.
- Candidates who have appeared for the final exam of the bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply, but their admission will be provisional and will be canceled if leads to non-fulfillment of the abovementioned eligibility.
Candidates with foreign degrees or qualifications (Foreign Nationals/ PIO/ OCI/ NRI) are also eligible, but such candidates should obtain equivalence certificates from the Association of Indian Universities. Such candidates who are applying with a foreign degree must submit a certificate of equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SNAP 2023 is a computer-based exam that is conducted in English only.
- The test includes a total of 60 objective questions/multiple-choice questions. The exam duration will be of 60 minutes.
- The paper is divided into four sections: Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability.
- Every correct answer will obtain one mark, and every incorrect answer will lead to a deduction of 0.25 marks.
- All four sections have been allotted a specific number of marks. Please refer to the table above for the details.

Reservation
Symbiosis International has made provisions for candidates of reserved category as well as with disabilities. The types of disabilities covered are as follows: vision impairment, hearing impairment, locomotors disabilities, mental retardation, multiple disabilities, and dyslexia.
- Candidates are required to submit relevant documents issued by a competent authority at the time of filling SNAP 2023 application form.
- Candidates applying under the category of differently-abled are required to obtain an “Authentication Certificate” from the Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC) within one month of commencement of the program.

Counselling
SNAP Counselling 2023 – Stages:
- The counseling process will be organized so as to offer the final admission to the qualified students.
- There are various stages which are associated with the SNAP Counselling 2023. The students need to undergo each and every stage so as to get the final enrollment in the management courses.
- Stage 1: Online Registration The first stage of the counselling procedure is the registration process. The qualified students will have to register them so as to participate in the counseling procedure. At this stage, the candidates need to pay the registration fee so as to confirm the registration.
- Stage 2: Choice filling and locking: This is the second stage of the counselling. At this stage, the students need to fill their choices regarding the course available to them. Choices should be made very carefully. After making the choices, the students need to lock the same. No alterations shall be made once after locking the choices.
- Final Seat Allotment: This is the third and final stage of the SNAP Counselling 2023 The final seat will be allotted to the students on the basis of their rank in the merit list, their preferences for the courses and the availability of seats at that rank. Once the seat allotment is done, the students will have to undergo document verification round.
