Candidates must have the following minimum requirements if they appear for the GATE 2023 exam. However, the educational qualification for GATE 2023 has been relaxed. GATE Exam 2023 Registration(GOAPS)

The GATE registration process has now started. Candidates who want to appear in the exam must register on the GOAPS portal. The GATE 2023 registration process started on 30th August 2022. Candidates should also ensure that they can pay online only through GOAPS portal or official website.

How do we fill GATE 2023 application form?

Open the GOAPS portal’s official webpage and register there.
Open the GATE login window after registering yourself.
Now, complete the GATE application form by filling out all the essential fields.
Upload the necessary paperwork, including signatures and photos.
Pay the GATE application form fee at this time.

Photograph and Signature Specifications

Candidates must carefully upload their photo and signature to the GATE 2023 application form using an electronic medium. Let’s look at the details for the photo and signature requirements that are provided below –

For Photographs –

Verify that your face appears in the pasted photo.
It must be a recent passport-sized photo with both ears showing that meets the requirements of (3.5 cm Width 4.5 cm Height).
The face in the photo must not be obscured by any offensive items, such as headgear, sunglasses, tinted lenses, or caps.
There shouldn’t be anyone in the photo’s backdrop.
The glare of the candidate’s spectacles is unacceptable if they are being worn while wearing specs.

For Signature –

The candidates’ signatures may only be made in dark blue or black ink.
The file must be between 5 and 200 kilobytes in size.
The signature of another person will not be recognized.

The JPG or JPEG format is acceptable.
The biggest image is 160560 pixels, and the smallest is 80280 pixels.
You risk being disqualified if your signature on the hall ticket you signed over at the time of the exam doesn’t match.

Negative marking is not permitted for NAT-based or MSQ questions.

GATE 2023 Admit Card

Beginning January 3, 2023, the GATE 2023 admit card will be available for download. Prior to its distribution, candidates will be informed of the availability of the admit card via an announcement on the website. IIT Kanpur will host GATE in 2023. The GATE 2023 hall ticket will be made available on the official website. The candidates will need to enter their enrollment ID and password in order to download their GATE 2023 admit card. Bring your hall ticket to the GATE 2023 exam location. The applicants will not be permitted to enter the exam room without their admission card.
