NEET is National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam is an All India Entrance exam for admission of MBBS. NEET is a competitive entrance exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) until 2018 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. A computer-based exam will be conducted for the National-Eligibility-cum-Entrance-Test NEET(UG) 2022. Students pursuing MBBS and other undergraduate courses in approved/recognized colleges/deemed universities/institutions throughout the country are eligible to participate in NEET 2022 Notification, which will be conducted in 13 Indian languages. Also, NEET is the only valid exam for admission to institutes like JIPMER, AIIMS, PGIMER, etc.

The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2022 exam, and have announced the NEET 2022 exam dates at neet.nta.nic.in. As per the latest update, the NEET UG 2022 notification is out and the registration has started today,06 April 2022. The last date to apply is May 06, 2022.
The NEET exam date is July 17th 2022. Students can fill application form till 6th May 2022 on the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
NEET 2022 question paper will comprise 200 MCQs from 4 major subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. As per the revised NEET 2022 Exam Pattern, each subject is divided into 2 sections i.e. A & B with 35 and 15 questions respectively. Also, the NEET exam duration is 200 minutes (3 hours 20 minutes). No changes are announced in NEET 2022 Syllabus, but to rationalize the reduction of the syllabus by various boards, NTA has provided the internal choice in Section B of the paper. So, out of the 15 questions in Section B, only 10 have to be attempted.
NEET 2022 Eligibility Criteria must be fulfilled by all the candidates who are planning to appear for the upcoming examination. NMC has revised NEET 2022 Eligibility Criteria. On March 9, NMC announced the revision in NEET 2022 Eligibility. The upper age limit of 25 years has been scrapped.
The minimum NEET age limit required to apply for the exam is that the candidate must have completed 17 years as of December 31, 2022.
Earlier, candidates above 25 years of age were not allowed to appear for the exam however, the criteria have now been officially scrapped.
There is no limit on the number of attempts that a candidate can take the exam every year.
Class 10+2 in PCB and English from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks for the general category candidates.
Reserved category candidates can apply for the exam with 40% marks in PCB.
If a candidate has opted for biology as an additional subject in Class 12 is also eligible to apply for the exam.
Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for the exam.
NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals are also eligible to appear for the exam.
There is no limit on the number of times a candidate can appear for NEET.
Candidates who are 17 years and above can take any number of NEET Attempts provided they fulfil other eligibility criteria.

The candidates must note that after submission of the application form it cannot be withdrawn. The refund amount of the application fee will not be entertained
After the advice from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, the Government of India, the National Test Agency (NTA) has announced that candidates with disabilities can fill the application forms for the NEET UG 2022 on the basis of the draft guidelines placed on the website of the Medical Council of India (MCI).
In case, any changes are made in the draft notification by MCI, the candidate may correct the particulars of the application at the time when the correction facility in the application form will be available in May 2022 (Tentative).

Mode of the Exam: NEET 2022 is an offline examination and will be conducted in the pen-paper mode in various exam centers at 543+ test cities across India. The exam will also be held in 14 exam cities abroad.
Number of Questions: The question paper for the NEET exam will consist of 200 MCQs out of which you have to answer only 180.
Number of Subjects: NEET exam has 3 major subjects- Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. The subject of Biology is further divided into Botany and Zoology. Each subject has 50 questions (45 to be attempted).
Marking Pattern in NEET exam: Each question carries 4 marks in the NEET exam. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer in the exam. However, no marks are deducted for leaving a question unattempted
NEET UG Total Marks: The paper will be for a total of 720 marks.
NEET Exam Duration: The maximum time awarded to complete NEET 2022 exam is 3 hours and 20 minutes (200 minutes). Also, there is no sectional time limit.
