10 Successful MBA Degree Working Professional

As you would have already known what this article is about, so it is obvious that each and every person mentioned in today’s list has done Masters in Business and Administration (MBA degree). I have talked a lot about how to get an MBA degree and what you can achieve after that in my previous articles. I am summarizing my articles in short if you haven’t checked yet. 

-> There are two ways you can apply for an MBA degree. First in a traditional way i.e. going to college and gradually completing the MBA course. Second is an online option to avoid mobility problems. This way you can learn from the comfort of your home. You can apply for a full-time or part-time MBA course. If you are able to attend classes for more time then you should apply for a full-time MBA course or apply for a part-time MBA course if you have very less amount of time to spare. 

-> More than forty percent of people in Forbes’s list of top 500 CEOs have an MBA degree. MBA degree not only benefits a commerce graduate student but it is a beneficial degree for all three streams science, arts and commerce. 

Melinda Gates

Melinda Ann Gates is a general manager in Microsoft corporation and an American philanthropist. She has also co-founded the world’s largest private charitable organization since 2015 with her husband Bill Gates as Melinda and Bill Gates. 

Indra Nooyi

Indra Nooyi is an Indian-American business executive. She is the chief executive officer and the chairman of the company PepsiCo. She has been continuously ranked among the world’s top 100 powerful women.

Tim Cook

Timothy Donald Cook is the chief executive officer of Apple Inc. He is an American business executive, industrial engineer and a philanthropist. Under co-founder Steve Jobs, previously he was the company’s chief operating officer. 

Sheryl Sandberg

Sheryl Kara Sandberg is the founder of LeanIn.Org. She is the chief operating officer of Facebook and a philanthropist. Also, She was elected by the board of directors of Facebook in June, 2012. She became the first woman to serve Facebook’s board. 

C. Douglas McMillan

Carl Douglas McMillan is an American business executive. He is the chief executive officer and the president of the Walmart Inc. He is on the retailer’s board of directors. When he first joined the company he was in high school. He joined as a summer associate in the company then he became the fifth CEO of the company in the year 2014. 

Darren W. Woods

Darren W. Woods is the chief executive officer, the chairman and an American businessman. He has been working in ExxonMobil company since 1st January, 2017. 

Mary T. Barra

Mary T. Barra whose whole name is Mary Teresa Barra is an American businesswoman. She was the chief executive officer and the chairman of the company General Motors since 15th January, 2014. It is the record that she is the first female CEO of a major automaker. 

Jamie Dimon

Jamie Dimon is the chief executive officer and the chairman of the company JPMorgan Chase. This is the largest of the big four banks of America. He is an American business executive. He was also on the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, before joining JPMorgan Chase company. 

H. Lawrence Culp Jr.

Henry Lawrence Culp, Jr. was also known as ‘Larry’. He is an American business executive. He has been the chief executive officer and the chairman of the company General Electric since October, 2018. The General Electric company has a history of their own heirs executors for the company from one hundred and twenty six (126) years. Larry is an exception as he is an outsider for the company. Previously he was working in the Danaher corporation which is situated in Washington, D.C. 

Joseph W. Gorder

Joe Gordon served as president and the chief operating officer. Now he has become chairman of the board as well as the chief executive officer of the company Valero Energy Corp. He was the chief operating officer with responsibilities of refining operations and commercial operations also in the marketing, transportation and supply department. 

Conclusion

MBA Working professional is an ordinary degree like others but it’s about the people and their ideas which makes a person famous. Just being successful doesn’t always make you remembered in people’s mind but the impact of your actions do. I have mentioned 10 successful personalities having MBA degrees. Everything starts from one point and it is known as an idea and ideas come to people who keep their minds open and to people who are able to explore an idea with different perspectives.
