After CMAT 2024 Result
Candidates would need to apply for admission to MBA programs offered by universities recognizing CMAT score after the CMAT result 2024 announcement. Candidates must submit individual applications to the institutes for CMAT because there is no centralized counseling for this exam. Candidates must review the list of CMAT colleges in India to do that.
GD/PI shortlisting
To narrow down candidates for the GD/PI phase, the majority of MBA colleges have a minimal CMAT cutoff. The admissions committee shortlists applicants based on their CMAT scores after receiving their applications. Those who meet the cutoff are chosen to move on to the GD/PI round.
On a set day, the GD/PI round is conducted on the institute premises. Candidates are divided into batches of 8–10 for the GD round. They are given a subject to discuss, and the moderators grade them as they go. A group of professors and experts meet the candidates one-on-one during the PI round and conduct interviews with them. In this round, the candidates are judged on their level of assurance, knowledge, and problem-solving and communication abilities. Based on the candidate’s overall performance, the decision is made.
