WBJEE 2023 Exam Pattern
The WBJEE 2023 exam pattern is divided into two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will have questions from Mathematics, while Paper 2 will have questions from Physics and Chemistry. Both papers will be conducted in offline mode, meaning they will be pen and paper-based.
Paper 1 will have a total of 75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from Mathematics. The total marks for this paper will be 100. Each question will carry one mark, and for every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total score. The total duration of Paper 1 will be 2 hours.
Paper 2 will have a total of 80 MCQs, with 40 questions from Physics and 40 questions from Chemistry. The total marks for this paper will be 100. Each question will carry one mark, and for every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total score. The total duration of Paper 2 will also be 2 hours.
The questions in both papers will be based on the syllabus prescribed by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE). The language of the question paper will be in English and Bengali.
Candidates who want to appear for both papers will have to appear for both papers on the same day. The questions will be of multiple-choice type, and candidates have to mark the correct answer in the OMR sheet provided.
The exam pattern is subject to change, and candidates are advised to refer to the official website for the latest updates.
