Entrance Exam
Like any other University SGT also have 2 process for Admission. First is based on Entrance Exam. Second on entrance based.
Admission to the Ph. D. in all streams, M. Phil. in Clinical Psychology and Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology shall be made strictly on the basis of merit of Entrance Examination to be conducted by the University.
Those students who clear the entrance get eligible for the coming admission process.
Fee
Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University has its own image among the youth. Although it offers fantastic facilities also. The average fee is more than 80000 per annum. Not everyone can afford this fee but those who can afford can go for it.
Placement
SGT university has its own standard and placement records. Although it’s all up to how many students are cracking interviews while placement. For example nursing students have 100% placement records, which is a big deal. In terms of placement SGTU has good records.

SCHOLARSHIP POLICY OF SGT UNIVERSITY
The scholarship in the form of Tuition Fee Concession will be awarded to the meritorious students at the time of admission and subsequent years for students admitted in Academic Session 2020-21.
AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION UG COURSES
the scholarship will be admissible to students of UG courses (except for the Faculties of Medicine & Health Sciences, Dental Sciences, Indian Medical System on the basis of marks obtained as under.
PCB/M/CS with English as one of the subject ORBest of four subjects with English as one of the compulsory subjects For calculating the percentage for a scholarship, the subsidiary subjects i.e. Drawing, Music, Physical Education, etc. will not be considered.
5% extra scholarship in the form of Tuition Fee Concession (10% for Law programs) will be awarded to the Girl candidates who will be admitted in Non-medical courses (including Behavioral Sciences), over and above the % mentioned at (b) and (c) (both) above.
The Girls candidates seeking admission in the Law programs and not covered in the scholarship slabs will be awarded a flat 10% scholarship in the form of tuition fee concession.
The candidates seeking admissions in B. Tech. programs and not covered in the scholarship slabs will be awarded a flat 10% scholarship in the form of tuition fee concession.
If any candidate will be admitted in Non-medical courses (including Behavioral Sciences), with the recommendations of the Principal of any School, will be granted a 5% extra scholarship in the form of a Tuition Fee Concession, if he/she produces the recommendation letter of the Principal.
