For Paper II (Classes VI to VIII): Candidates should have completed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or should have completed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or should have completed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or should have a Graduation degree with at least 50% marks and should have completed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
  4. Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

For Paper I (Classes I to V):

  1. Child Development and Pedagogy
  2. Language-I (Hindi)
  3. Language-II (English)
  4. Mathematics
  5. Environmental Studies

For Paper II (Classes VI to VIII):

  1. Child Development and Pedagogy
  2. Language-I (Hindi)
  3. Language-II (English)
  4. Mathematics and Science (for Mathematics and Science teachers)
  5. Social Science (for Social Science teachers)
  6. Any one of the following: Physical Education, Art Education, Music Education, Home Science, Commerce, Computer Science, and Agriculture.

Exam Pattern:

The exam pattern for CG TET is as follows:

  4. The duration of each paper is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
