INI CET 2023

INI CET stands for Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test. It is a national-level entrance examination conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi, on behalf of AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER, and NIMHANS for admission into postgraduate courses in medical and surgical fields offered by these institutions. The exam is conducted once a year, usually in the month of June.

How to fill INI CET application form 2023:

The official notification for INI CET 2023 has not yet been released. However, based on the previous year’s application process, here are the general steps to fill the INI CET application form:

Registration: Visit the official website of AIIMS and click on the link for INI CET. Click on the ‘New Registration’ button and enter the required details, such as name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.

Fill Application Form: After registration, log in with the credentials and fill in the required details in the application form, such as personal details, educational qualifications, and contact information.

Upload Documents: Upload the scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other required documents, such as educational certificates, category certificate (if applicable), and internship completion certificate.

Pay Application Fee: Pay the application fee through online mode, such as credit/debit card, net banking, or e-wallets.

Submit Application: After filling in all the required details and making the payment, submit the application form. Take a printout of the application form for future reference.

Anatomy: General anatomy, Embryology, Histology, Osteology, Arthrology, Myology, Regional anatomy, Applied anatomy.

Physiology: General physiology, Blood, Cardiovascular system, Respiratory system, Gastrointestinal system, Nutrition, Environmental physiology, Nervous system, Sensory organs, Motor system, Endocrine system, Reproduction.

Biochemistry: Structure and function of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids, Enzymes, Vitamins and minerals, Metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, amino acids, and nucleotides, Bioenergetics, Molecular biology, Hormones, Molecular basis of inheritance.

Pharmacology: General pharmacology, Autonomic nervous system, Central nervous system, Cardiovascular system, Drugs affecting blood, Respiratory system, Gastrointestinal system, Endocrine pharmacology, Chemotherapy, Immunopharmacology, Miscellaneous drugs.

Microbiology: General microbiology, Bacteriology, Virology, Mycology, Parasitology.

Exam Pattern of INI CET 2023

The official notification for INI CET 2023 has not yet been released. However, based on the previous year’s exam, the following is the exam pattern for INI CET:

Exam Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

Exam Duration: 3 hours and 30 minutes

Number of Questions: 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs)

Language of Exam: English

Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Sections and Subjects: The INI CET exam consists of four sections, each focusing on different subjects:

Section 1: Applied Anatomy, Applied Physiology and Applied Biochemistry Section 2: Pathology and Microbiology Section 3: Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology Section 4: Social and Preventive Medicine, including Psychiatry

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for INI CET, candidates must have completed their MBBS or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution and have completed their internship on or before the specified date.

Eligibility Criteria for INI CET 2023

The official notification for INI CET 2023 has not yet been released. However, based on the previous year’s exam, the following is the eligibility criteria for INI CET:

Nationality: Only Indian citizens, Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons with Indian Origin (PIOs), and Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply for INI CET.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their MBBS or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution.

Internship: Candidates must have completed their compulsory rotating internship on or before the specified date. Candidates who have completed their internship after the specified date are not eligible to apply.

Registration: Candidates must have a valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the State Medical Council (SMC).
