Chandigarh University hosts International Music & Dance

Chandigarh University News Today it hosted an International Dance and Music Festival from October 21 to 23, 2023. The festival featured a vibrant display of cultural performances from around the world, with participants from over 40 countries showcasing their talents in music, dance, and drama. Meenakshi Lekhi, Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture, gave the festival’s opening remarks and expressed gratitude for the university’s work fostering cross-cultural dialogue and understanding. Other dignitaries in attendance included Chandigarh University Chancellor Satnam Singh Sandhu and Amit Sahai Mathur, program director of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). The festival’s highlights included performances by renowned artists such as Pandit Jasraj, a legendary Indian classical vocalist, and Shiamak Davar, a Bollywood choreographer. Kshitij Rasal: The creator of Kratos Aerospace, a business that creates drones for both military and commercial use, is aerospace engineer Kshitij Rasal.
