M.Tech and M.Sc. after Bachelor’s degree in India

M.Tech or Masters in Engineering

2 years of professional or academic master’s degree in the field of Engineering.  Master’s degree normally requires the previous degree as of bachelors’ degree, either as a separate degree or an integrated course.

Now, while pursuing the master’s degree the student is expected to possess advanced knowledge of the specific body relating to both theoretical and practical study of the applied topics. These studies provide an analytical, critical evaluation, practical application, professional application, ability to solve complex problems.

In India, the ME/M. Tech is offered in various specializations. These specializations include Civil engineering, chemical engineering, computer and Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, and Telecommunication Engineering, etc.

It mainly acquires certain skill sets such as determination, scientific skill, analytical skill, ability to work in a team, problem-solving skills.

Eligibility criteria for the course

Carry a Bachelor’s degree in science with a minimum percentage of 50%-60%. However, the rules for eligibility differ according to the institute to institute.

M.Sc. course curriculum mainly comprises of Biotechnology, Computer Science, Microbiology, Life science, and Food Science.
