National Law School of India University, (NLSIU), Bangalore
This university if established in 1986, offering courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. NLU is the national law schools in India which is built for a five year law degree model and has a implementation by the Bar Council of India.
The admission for undergraduate program is based on the credits system with additional seminar courses for further learning, and pursue further to their field of interest. This degree consists of fifty subjects to be studied over duration of ten semesters. And the students are expected to submit fifty research projects before their completion of graduation.

Except for admission for Ph.D. and M.Phill, it is done on the basis of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). The university conducts the Policy Aptitude Test for Master of Public Policy (MPP).

The mode of admission is done on the basis of All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) which is conducted by NLU. Also for postgraduate diploma, and certificate course, the candidates are selected on the basis of AILET.
The student can also appear for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).
