UNIPUNE exam offers M.Tech with various specializations in the field of Engineering with a duration of 2 years. The minimum eligibility for getting admission into M.Tech is Graduation & candidates are selected to this course on the basis of merit in an entrance examination.

Admission Process

Pune university offers an online mode of application process through the official website. Necessary steps to apply online are as follows:

  • Click on the Admission Tab
  • Select the course i.e., UG, PG or PhD. Admissions
  • Click on the desired department course and specialization
  • You will be redirected to the login page
  • New users Signup, others can log in by entering Username and Password
  • Click on ‘New Application’
  • Fill the applications with legit information
  • Upload your recent photograph
  • Click on ‘Save and Proceed’
  • Pay the application fee via Challan
  • Get the Application and a copy of the university challan copy printed

Eligibility Criteria

UG Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent for getting admission into BA / B.Sc / B.Com / BFA / BA.LLB / BSL
  • Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with PCM for getting admission into BCS.
  • B.Sc / B.E in relevant subject for getting admission into B.Sc (Applied) at SPPU
  • Candidates must have passed 10 or equivalent or D.Pharm with 1st class for getting admission into B.Pharm
  • Candidates must a Diploma in HMCT for admission into BHMCT
  • Candidates must have a Graduation degree for admission into B.Ed / LLB / B.P.Ed

PG Eligibility Criteria

  • Admission into M.Com requires a degree in B.Com.
  • M.Sc admission necessitates a B.Sc with the relevant subject.
  • MA program demands a BA with the relevant subject.
  • MCA/MCS requires a Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics in 10+2.
  • MFA admission mandates a degree in BFA.
  • MOL admission requires BOL/BA with additional learning.

UniPune starts the application process from the month of March every year and offers admission on the basis of scores secured in national level entrance exam.
UniPune follows the entrance and without entrance schemes to provide admission in various PG courses. In case of entrance based admissions, the University releases the course wise merit lists followed by the counselling process.
No, Pune University does not currently have any provision for distance education for its students.
