It is located in Ahmedabad and is a public-owned institution. In 2014, NID Ahmedabad was declared as an “Institution of National Importance” by the Indian Parliament. NID offers many undergraduate and postgraduate courses; some most popular are B.Des and MDes and PhDs as well. Its fee ranges from 3-4 lakhs per year. It provides a placement package of 7-50LPA.
