Verbal and Logical Ability Analysis
The overall level of difficulty in the English component increased from the previous year. The decision-making level was on par with the paper from the previous year. It was a huge comfort that there were no lengthy portions this year. As a result, compared to last year, less time was needed to complete the questions, and a higher cut-off can be anticipated for this segment.

Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation Analysis
Comparatively speaking, this year’s part on quantitative ability and data interpretation was a little simpler. The majority of the 22 QA questions came from the subjects of geometry, algebra, number system, and arithmetic. While the majority of the arithmetic questions were manageable, the geometry and algebraic questions were more challenging. There were two directions-based questions with unclear terminology (Company ABC and XYZ sharing profits).

General Awareness Analysis
Compared to last year, the General Awareness part was somewhat more challenging. There were 25 questions in this section. The majority of the questions consisted of a single statement. There were many right statements in some of the multiple-statement questions. Given that each question asked for knowledge of each assertion on its own, the students may have been perspiring while responding. Static GK (Economy, Geography, Science, Science and Technology) and Current GK (Business economy and miscellaneous) are the main areas from which the questions were asked. There were no questions from the history, sports, or politics sections this year compared to last. The GK portion is generally considered to be “moderate-difficult” in difficulty. A 10–11 question attempt with a 7-8 score can be taken into consideration good.
Essay Writing Analysis
This part of the test consisted of an essay. The topic of the essay was “Technology and Nature are natural enemies”. Like every year, XAT came with a very interesting topic yet again, on which students could ponder and bring out various perspectives.
