The structure of Oxford’s university is distinctive. Both the university as well as a large and world-renowned institution and a college or hall, a small, multidisciplinary academia, benefit the students and university professionals. Oxford is a unique, historical university, it is the oldest university in the English-speaking world. The founding date is not clear, but the teaching was somehow given at Oxford in 1096 and rapidly developed after Henry II prohibited English students from attending the University of Paris in 1167.
